Michael, a lifelong Janesville resident, grew up on the South and West sides. He graduated from Parker High School in 2008, earned an Associate’s Degree from Blackhawk Technical College in 2012, and completed the law enforcement academy in 2013. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Upper Iowa University in 2014.

While seeking his degrees, Michael began working in the criminal justice field in 2011, serving in various roles including law enforcement and corrections. He currently works as a Consumer Protection Investigator for the State of Wisconsin.

Meet Michael

Michael was appointed to the Community Development Authority (CDA) in 2021 and has been serving as the Chair since 2024. Also in 2021, he joined Janesville Mobilizing 4 Change (JM4C) as a board member and served as deputy chairperson for one term. In addition to his current service with the CDA and JM4C, he is also serving as an alternate member of Janesville’s Advisory Committee on Appointments.

Michael lives on the East side of Janesville with his fiancé and their two cats.
